Travel Information to Abergavenny

Abergavenny is in the South East of Wales in the county of Monmouthshire.  The town is convenient to travel to as it lies on the junction of the A40, A465 and A4042 trunk roads and has a mainline train station on the Manchester-Cardif line.

Abergavenny's location

If you will be travelling by car;

From the East/South/West, exit the M4 at Junction 24, Newport and take the A449 (direction Monmouth), exit at Raglan (signposted Abergavenny) and follow the signs for Abergavenny on the A40.

From the North, exit the M5 at junction 8 and travel the length of the M50 to Ross-on-Wye.  At Ross continue along the A40 in the direction of Monmouth.  After Monmouth, continue along the A40 which leaves the main road at Raglan (signposted Abergavenny) and follow the signs for Abergavenny on the A40.
